On June 13th, 10 of Best Buddies Arizona's exceptional Buddy participants, attended the 2nd Annual B.U.I.L.D. Training (Buddies United in Leadership Development) led by Deputy Director of B.U.I.L.D., Kali Wasenko of Best Buddies International.

B.U.I.L.D. is an exclusive training that gives past and present participants with intellectual disabilities, the opportunity to develop leadership and speaking skills that are then carried over into the elite role of “Buddy Ambassador.”

Buddy Ambassadors are graduates of the B.U.I.L.D. program who share the Best Buddies vision with the community at large. Buddy Ambassadors are given opportunities to participate in networking, fundraising and public awareness endeavors coordinated by the state office.
